About Me

- A former high school teacher who did not finish high school... Instead of scribbling on worksheets teachers used to distribute to pacify us, I was memorizing and articulating the social analysis evoked in me through albums like NWA’s “Straight Outta Compton” and KRS-ONE’s “Edutainment.” I have since become more academic with my endeavors, as my research is geared towards developing the type of liberatory literacy programs I wish I had in high school. Don’t be turned off by the grimace I wear in place of a smile – it is simply a window to the boyhood frustrations that guid my urgency to change the world one blog reader at a time…
